About This Tournament
Date and time: Saturday September 5 - Monday September 7 2026. Two rounds daily at 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Format: six-round Swiss tournament, with the following sections: Crown, U2200, U1900, U1600, U1300.
Time control: 90 minutes + 30 second increment
Rating: All sections CFC-rated. Crown, U2200 and U1900 also FIDE-rated. A valid CFC membership is required. Section eligibility determined by highest of CFC rating, FQE rating or FIDE rating.

Entry Fee:
- Early bird $115 before August 8, 2026
- Regular $135 Aug. 8 through Aug. 25, 2026
- Late $150 after August 25 2026.
- $20 discount for ACC members, seniors (60 and over) and juniors (18 and under). Only one discount maximum.
Registrations close on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. There are no in-person registrations.
Refunds: Registration fee minus $20 through August 25. 50% until September 1. After September 1, no refunds will be issued.
Byes: Half-point byes are available for rounds 1-4, zero point byes for rounds 5 and 6. Please email tournaments@annexchessclub.com for all bye requests.
Play-up: Players may play up a section if they are within 100 points of the rating floor of the next section, based on the latest rating update prior to the tournament. Play up is permitted for all sections. The play-up fee is $20, payable on arrival to the tournament. All play up requests must be emailed to tournaments@annexchessclub.com.

$7000 prize fund based on 250 entrants. $1500 guaranteed for first place. Cash prizes, trophies or medals for top three players, top woman, top junior, top senior, and top ACC member in each section. Prizes will not be stacked.
